Oh my goodness I am so excited to see that you are back. I was cleaning up my RUclips and I got to you and I’m like how long has it been that I saw there was a video that like oh my God it almost choked on my Coke so happy to see you back.

Get enough containers and start with 'A' and go to 'Z', I find that they seem to only use 1-9 when using numbers, then a few containers for symbols. Not DMC numbers whatsoever. The canvas it not labeled in DMC'S. After the pic is complete place a few back into the bags they came in write numbers etc on each bag so you know which one it is, there throw rest away. No need to hold on to all those beads ever.

I hope you have found a different way to do this since it has been four years ago. No need to do all this two sided tape, cutting those things out.

Why are you keeping them to begin with when you have completed the picture? And why are you organizing them in DMC numbers because all D. P. canvas are in letters, numbers, or symbols? When I have done one for someone they get the extra drills along with the pink glue and pen. They need them not me.

Great video!! You just gave me the best idea ! I pulled the hairs out of an old makeup brush - squished the metal part together ish. And it works perfectly in the wax !

I like your idea of putting all the drills together if the dye lots seem the same. I’ve heard they can be off at times. I’m new to this. If I had my drills on trays I’m sure I’d spill them at some point. Right now I keep them in the bags most times. Though I did put some in containers to try that way, but now I have issues with that kit, and am not doing it, so I did all that for nothing and will put the drills back in the bfs because I may have to return it. So I started a new painting with like yours, lots of colors,like one A, then an 8 and then an a, and so forth. I can see why you have they trays set out, but I have no place to do this. So if it’s just one drill I just put my pen in the bag and stick one hopefully!! Lol!! I found doing it that way using the containers with drills I it worked okay too. Like I said I’m new so I may change my mind. Right now I’m not good at all with multiplacing so my system is working for me!! Just thought I’d share. I don’t recommend anyone do as I do, but for me it’s working right now😮!! Thanks for posting.

So very to see you back. I no longer DP either. I was working on one for my dad and he passed away before i got it finished, needless to say but I have not worked on it since he passed. I still have my DP supplies and several kits but I don't think I will be getting back into it any time soon. Maybe someday. Anyways, since that poinit in my life I have had many changes. When I was cross stitching I would but the $1 plastic flip top pencil boxes and fill the bottom about a third to half full with foamies or felt and then put a piece of plastic canvas on top. then when I cut floss I would thread 6 needles at a time for loop starts and just write a piece of paper with the dmc numbers and tape it in the lid. then when I was done for the day just close it up for the next time.

so glad you are back. I had the opposite journey I used to cross stitch a lot but my eyes got too bad so I switched to diamond painting. I had the guided shots to my neck and the first set lasted nearly 3 years. They told me when they did the first shot it could last 6 months to the rest of my life. It all depends on each individual

I’ve had to quit diamond painting almost all together as well, it was hurting my hands and shoulder. I sold most of my dps and I discovered full coverage cross stitch about a year ago…now I have way too many charts 🤣

<3 <3 I still DP but I started xs in 2019 and it's AWESOME. My full coverage hack is Pattern Keeper. It's hard to stitch without it now! I love it.

Welcome back! I was so sad when you sort of disappeared. I had to quit dp because of my back and neck issues. I have recently come up with a way to still dp without much pain or complication. But just recently I have begun going down the full coverage cross stitch rabbit hole! I downloaded a freebie from HAED to give it a try (a Hannah Lynn picture). I've bought fabric and q snaps and have half the threads already. I'm now trying to figure out if I need to prewash the 100% cotton even weave. I'm thinking of trying to do the 10x10 grid method. My first full coverage to even attempt! I am so excited you are back!

Thank you I enjoy your diamond painting videos. I'm going to use your method of using double sided tape. I am working on a square diamond painting now. It's so flusterating when the drills don't line up and start to buckle. Like you said I think the drills are to big or something. And I have a lot of trash drills. The pill crusher is to separate drills clumped together, and not actually for crushing drills. They sell ones just for diamond painting drills but I guess this is what works for her.
